The story of De Massimo's is all about family. Their sauces are Old-World Italian recipes handed down over generations. Founded in the spring of 2015, when they brought their sauces at the Hilliard City Farmers’ Market in Columbus, Ohio, De Massimo’s has established a growing retail culinary presence through participating in various markets and events throughout Ohio and the Midwest. Steve and Anita Spencer, owners of Homestead Growers in Sheridan, IN, started Local Folks Foods to make use of excess produce on their farm. Along with partner Paul Skirvin, Steve and Anita developed a diverse food line with an emphasis on using local, fresh and natural ingredients, bringing the flavor of the Midwest to the world. Sourcing all of their fresh ingredients locally, today, they work hard to reduce the distances their food travels before consumption.
