Yup, it’s that time of year again, when chili is the go-to for a hearty, comfort dish, a topper for Friday night movie dogs (try our natural casing wieners on our fresh-baked Honey Butter Buns), a cozy midweek meal or a come-home-to on Sunday after three snowball fights, some angel making and a sled ride!

That’s where our chili starters come in! From the tomatoes to the beans, to the sauce and spice levels, we tested, tasted and toiled until we got it right! Try them with ground turkey, pork, buffalo, or with veggie crumbles — you really can’t go wrong.

And, because the original Classic (which has a pinch of cocoa powder for a signature touch) was so good, we’ve added THREE NEW VARIETIES!

  • Chicken White Bean — with hearty cannellini beans, succulent peppers and cilantro.
  • Chipotle Carnita — with rich beef stock, savory bacon and smoky chipotle peppers.
  • Garden Vegetable — simply bursting with veggies!

Finally, it’s easy as 1,2,3:

  1. Brown 1 lb. ground meat.
  2. Add the starter & 1 jar of water.
  3. Slow cook for an hour.

Try them all and serve with our fine, house-baked artisan breads. We particularly like the Asiago Cheese Loaf, Jalapeño Cheddar or simple Sourdough with our chili starters.
