Brunton Dairy, Independence Township, Beaver County, PA
Brunton Dairy is run by brothers James Jr., Ed and Herb, who are the seventh generation to work the farm, which covers 200 acres and dates back to 1832. The three brothers and their families work together to provide great tasting milk and the best chocolate milk anywhere! They process their milk in half-gallon glass bottles and all of it comes from the cows on their farm. Committed to providing a wholesome product for the community, they do not use the supplemental hormone rBST. We carry their Fat-Free Milk, Skim Milk and the renowned Chocolate!
Friendship Farms, Latrobe, PA
Developed from age-old family recipes, all Friendship Farms breads are made with unbleached and untreated, or organic flours and grains, plus pure maple syrup or honey as natural sweeteners. They make everything with the freshest, least-processed ingredients available, including fruits and vegetables from their farm. In fact, all of their products are made completely from scratch with no preservatives. This requires more “hands-on” attention and effort, so every loaf of bread is small batch, hand-cut, formed and baked in their stone deck ovens. You can taste the care in the many delicious, one-of-a-kind breads we sell!
Bedillion Honey Farm & Farm Market, Hickory, PA
The Bedillion Honey Farm’s adventure with bees started in 2004 with one hive of bees. It soon turned into two hives, then 10, then 20, and now more than 100! They pride themselves on bringing you pure, raw wildflower honey from the hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Each blooming flower, tree and berry lends its own color and flavor to their honey, which you won’t be able to find anywhere else!
Pittsburgh Pickle Company, Verona, PA
Will and John Patterson and Joe Robl, call their pickles a first-generation Pittsburgh-style pickle. They work out of a commercial-sized kitchen in Verona to make 900 24-ounce jars each month. This isn’t a recipe that’s been passed down, but created by focusing on what they liked and didn’t like about pickles, and pining over the perfect combination of spice mix and brine ratios. Try their Dill-Mill, Pittsburgh Style and Fire & Smoke varieties!
La Dorita Dulce de Leche, Sharpsburg, PA
A classic, all-natural, preservative-free milk spread brought to us from Argentina by the Oria family of Fox Chapel, La Dorita Dulce de Leche is made just like their grandmother first did in copper kettles with local, fresh-from-the-farm milk. Irresistibly smooth and creamy, sweet but not sugary, it finishes on the palate with a delightful hint of vanilla. Eat it as a topping on cakes, ice cream, yogurt or oatmeal. Spread it on toast, pancakes, waffles or crackers. Also available in Dark Chocolate.
Ideal Granola, Pittsburgh, PA
Founded in 2014 by Rachel Graper, Ideal Granola’s mission is to make healthy foods available to everyone. Their first line is grain-free granola made from all-natural, whole ingredients in delicious blends that are low in sugar, low in carbs and paleo. We love all three: Toasted Coconut, Spiced Pumpkin and Crunchy Cocoa!
