Founded and operated by Jan and Terry Rawecki, Pittsburgh’s Gosia's Pierogies are made from a secret family recipe that was handed down from Terry’s grandmother in Poland. Since 2001, Gosia's has made its pierogies from scratch, using only the highest quality, chemical-free dairy products, such as handmade dough, real cheese, fresh chopped onions and fresh produce. Even the potatoes are peeled by hand! Both Jan and Terry are deaf and communicate via sign language and lip reading. Jan is a Polish immigrant. Their success in the artisan food industry is testament to overcoming communication barriers to succeed. We are so proud to help them share their heritage. Pittsburgh IS pierogies and we have the best!
