Easy Pizza Dough

Makes: 1 pizza (8 slices)

Prep Time: 15 min.

Cook Time: 20-25 min.



  • 1/2 pkg. yeast or 1-1/8 tsp. bulk yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1-1/4 cups DeLallo Organic Type 00 Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Market District extra virgin olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF.
  2. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil.
  4. Add yeast mixture and stir about 20-25 strokes.
  5. Allow to rest 5 minutes.
  6. Grease pizza or cookie sheet pan.
  7. Stretch pizza crust into to desired thickness.
    If sticky, sprinkle with flour.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  9. Add sauce and toppings, cook another 10-12 minutes.
