Nature’s Basket Salmon — Good for the Planet, Great on the Plate!

Kvarøy (say “Kwa-ray”) is a postcard-pretty Norwegian island located on the Arctic Circle and that’s exactly where our Natures Basket salmon comes from—Kvarøy Arctic.

Redefining the salmon-farming industry through innovation and deep concern for the future of the fish and the waters, Kvarøy Arctic helped develop the non-GMO food they feed their salmon, resulting in an omega-3 content that is twice as much as other farmed salmon.

Much like grapes (you see what we’re doing here), fish have a “merroir” that reflects the waters in which they are raised. The Arctic waters are cool and clear, with a deep-fjord current that keeps the water fresh and helps exercise the salmon, reducing fat levels and giving it a pristine, clean flavor.

Providing salmon of very high quality without compromising either the environment or the welfare of the fish, Kvarøy is a welcome partner in our sustainable seafood program and our commitment to offering you very best.

Have a Grape Day!

NEW! Market District Limited-Edition Proprietary California Grapes

Grapes are like nature’s candy. So sweet, so satisfying and really not too many calories—62 per cup to be exact. Plus, if you’ve ever tucked them in the freezer and then popped one in your mouth on a hot day, you know they have serious refreshment capacity in so many ways!

Although available year round, peak season for grapes is the fall. This is when they make their way to many a cheeseboard for tailgating and the start of the entertaining season.

And this fall season, we are thrilled to bring you unique California varieties exclusive to Market District. You simply won’t find them anywhere else—and you’ll want to!

• Milano Green Seedless Grapes—Extra-large late summer variety; extremely crisp with a mildly sweet flavor.

• Holiday Red Seedless Grapes—Extra-large, bright and crispy with a sweet, juicy flavor.

• Adora Black Seedless Grapes— Extra-large late season variety with a very sweet flavor.

• Autumn Crisp Seedless Grapes— Extra-large, crunchy, late season variety with a mild sweet flavor.

The descriptions don’t do them justice. Just try them all and find your favorites. They are exquisite on the aforementioned cheeseboard, ideal for back-to-school-lunches and essentially dessert any time of the day. Get ‘em before they’re gone!

• Hitchhikers Bottle Service Mimosa Smoothie Sour Vermont Aged Cheddar Beer Cheese

Located in Sharpsburg, PA, in a building once home to Pitt Brewing Company, Hitchhiker Brewing Company brings their Mimosa Smoothie Sour to the table. Brewed with wheat and oats, conditioned on oranges and tangerines with notes of orange juice, lemon and bread, the Mimosa Smoothie Sour complements the Vermont aged Cheddar in an indescribably tangy, yeasty way. Oh. My.

• Fat Head’s Hazelnut Cream Stout Vermont Aged Cheddar Cheese

Located not just all over Ohio, but in Pittsburgh, too, Fat Head’s adds their Hazelnut Cream Stout to the mix. An intergalactic fusion of chocolate malts and hazelnut that is silky smooth with a soft creaminess from milk sugar, the Hazelnut Cream Stout transforms the Vermont aged Cheddar into a luxurious dessert-like cheese that holds court and counsel on any cheeseboard!
