David's Grandma's Glazed Nut Rolls

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add milk and heat until it begins to steam, 3-4 minutes. Pour warm milk into large bowl; add ½ cup sugar and stir to dissolve. 

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Whisk yeast, eggs, sour cream and salt into milk mixture. Gradually stir in flour until a soft dough forms. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine walnuts with 1 cup sugar. Lightly dust a clean surface with flour. Divide dough into 4 equal portions; roll each into a 12x12-inch square. Sprinkle evenly with a quarter of the walnut mixture on each, leaving an inch around the edges. Roll the dough jellyroll-style over the filling, tuck in the ends and place rolls on a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes,until golden brown. Drizzle each roll with powdered sugar glaze and garnish with chopped walnuts. Each roll serves 10 based on a 1-inch slice per portion.
