Wild Mushroom Green Bean Casserole

Cook Time: 45 min.
Place the trimmed, cut green beans into a bowl and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan and add chopped wild mushrooms.
Sauté mushrooms on medium-high for 3-5 minutes.
Add butter, onions, garlic and thyme and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add in softened cream cheese and stir until melted.
Add chicken stock and heavy cream and bring to a light boil.
Season with salt & pepper.
Pour mushroom sauce over the green beans and toss gently.
Pour the entire mixture into a large oven-safe container and bake for 45-50 minutes on 350°F.
Once cooked, garnish with the classic fried onions.
